And Looking Forward to Seeing You All
Since the government announced that we could re-open on 6th July we have been delighted to welcome patients back into the clinic.
Obviously we are doing things a little different now but we are getting used to the “new normal” and have been so busy.
You will notice the changes before you even enter the clinic. There are signs to remind you to social distance and we ask that you do not arrive early – or late – as timings matter so much. We do not want patients overlapping at all. Once you have called to say you are outside then we will let you in, check that you are wearing your mask, take your temperature and instruct you how to wash your hands correctly. After that, other than the masks and the PPE things will seem very similar to before.
All the staff are now back in the practice and whilst Dr Silva is here every day we are also running special clinics on certain days.
Every Monday we have a skin clinic with Shannon Lister a nurse prescriber who is a skin expert. She specialises in the Obagi skin care range. This is a prescription skin care range that deals with ageing skin, pigmentation, enlarged pores, acne and many other issues. She also does chemical peels, wrinkle relaxing injections, dermal fillers, Sunekos, microneedling, IPL and laser hair removal.
On Thursdays, our other nurse, Sarah Curtis, is here. She removes moles, warts and skin tags. She also does wrinkle relaxing injections, laser hair removal and IPL (Intense Pulse Light) for pigmentation, red veins and general skin rejuvenation.
On Fridays, we run a “lumps and bumps” minor surgery clinic with Dr Kat Bennett, a GP. She will remove lipomas and cysts. She also does dermal fillers, wrinkle relaxing injections and Profhilo.
As well as these practitioners we have our surgeons for all our aesthetic surgical cases such as blepharoplasties, nose jobs etc. And, as we said, Dr Silva is available as well and continues to carry out the many and varied treatments that we have always offered. Whatever you would like done, we will be able to find the person and time for you.
We are all looking forward to seeing you here in the clinic knowing that all the measures needed to protect both patients and the staff are in place.
