This treatment protocol is the same for mole removal, skin tag removal and wart removal.

Before mole removal treatment

Our doctor will assess each area of concern and advise you whether further investigation (histology) is required. If so, the necessary arrangements will be made and occasionally patients are then referred in order to confirm that there are no contraindications. We also advise patients to consult their GPs in Slough for advice prior to making a booking.

During mole removal treatment

The doctor will first mark any lesion(s) to be removed and local anaesthesia will be given at each site. Then the laser is used to cauterise each lesion. The entire procedure is quick and comfortable.

After mole removal treatment

As there is no downtime, you may leave the clinic when you are ready. The treated area will be ‘scabby’ and much darker than the surrounding skin. This initial scab falls off within 5-7 days, after which a second scab will form and fall off within the next 14 days. After the healing period, the appearance of the treated area will have improved and a very light mark, if any, may be left behind.

In most mole removal, skin tag removal and wart removal no stitches are needed and chances of any scarring are negligible.

how to find us from Slough

Perfect Image Consultants is conveniently located in Ruislip, Middlesex to serve our clients in Slough

  • A 30 minutes drive from Slough
  • Or short tube journey on the Metropolitan line, Piccadilly line or Central line if you are coming in from London and its surrounding areas. Slough station has frequent trains to Hayes and Paddington, where you can catch alternative trains to us.
