WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS?

Various medical grade dermal fillers are available on the market. These have different bases including collagen, polylactic acid, hyaluronic acid, and calcium hydroxyapatite. At Perfect Image Consultants we use hyaluronic acid based fillers, this is a compound which is found naturally in the body. These products can contain lidocaine, an anaesthetic, which reduces pain during and after injection. We also use a calcium hydroxyapatite product and provides longer lasting results.

During the treatment

After the treatment

There is generally no recovery time. The effects of dermal fillers are immediate, however, you may experience some redness and swelling which will take 24-48 hours to settle down.
